Sedrick Dwayne Ellis (born on July 9 1984) is an ex- American football defensive lineman. He played at the University of Southern California (USC) and received All-American All-American honours in the unanimous category. He was drafted by New Orleans Saints seventh overall in the 2008 NFL Draft.

With a bench press of over 500 pounds and was considered to be the best athlete on the Trojans team and was listed as one of “Pac-10’s Top 10 Players” by Sports Illustrated going into the 2007 season.

In the final stretch of the 2007 campaign, Ellis was named to be the Pacific-10 Conference Defensive Player of the Year by the league’s coaches, and was named for the all- conference first team.
