POLOKWANE - Two male suspects were apprehended in connection with the murder of Headman, Setlamorago Thobejane, that happened at Magobading village in the Mecklenburg policing area, Sekhukhune District on Wednesday 07 August 2024.
They are expected to appear before Tubatse Magistrate's court on Friday 30 August 2024.
Two suspects aged 25 and 40 were arrested on 28 August 2024, at Magobading and Steelpoort villages following joint investigations by members of the Provincial Tracking Team and Murder and Robbery Unit.
On the day of the incident, a 60-year-old Headman, Setlamorago Thobejane and his daughter were walking to work and to school, respectively, when suspects driving a maroon Toyota Camry without a registration number allegedly approached them and fired several shots, fatally wounding the Headman, and fled the scene afterwards.
He was taken to the ne
