Lalsangzuali Sailo (15 May 1949 – 14 October 2006) was a writer, gospel singer and music composer from Mizoram.[1] She has written over 300 songs, in Mizo, Kokborok[2] and English.[3]
Early life and education
Born on 15 May 1949 to S.
Vanchhuma and Sapthangi Chawngthu, she grew up in Thingsai, a village in Hnahthial district, Mizoram. She completed her schooling at St. John Bosco's Convent in Cherrapunji and obtained her bachelor's and master's degrees from St.
Mary's College, Shillong.[1] She also graduated in education (BE
